OUR STORY

As a proud mum of Mabel and her little brother Wilbur, I started this business when on maternity leave with Mabel to avoid the dreaded commute everyday into London.

What began as handmade products has grown into a proudly UK-manufactured collection, allowing us to focus on quality, design and growing the brand.

At Mabel & Fox, we design changing mats inspired by modern homeware trends, so they fit seamlessly into your home while being wipeable, waterproof and made for everyday life.

We also carefully curate a small selection of complementary brands, chosen for their quality and thoughtfully approved by our own little product testers at home.

We've taken the traditional baby changing mat, combined it with some utterly gorgeous prints (based around interior trends) allowing them to fit seamlessly into your home. Not only do they set the tone for a nursery space and inspire themes, they make incredible photo backdrops - our customers absolutely love taking pictures of their babies on our mats!

We have designed the collection to ensure we offer a variety of size and mat styles to not only cater for different changing requirements, but also to help make our product attainable for all. We've recognised that anything baby related needs to be super practical and so we have chosen a non-toxic wipeable PVC cover for our changing mats, enabling them to be easily cleaned post changes. The majority of our prints are gender neutral - we really believe in making items that can be passed down to friends or family.

MEET THE TEAM

LEANNE

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Starting out in adult life studying Fashion and Textiles Management, I've always had a love for fabrics and sewing. After the birth of my first baby, living in Colchester, but working in London and contemplating going back to work after maternity, I realised that the numbers just didn't add up!

So, I started Mabel and Fox, initially making everything by hand at home on my sewing machine when Mabel was napping. It then developed further through hard work, luck and some, shall we say... trial and error!

After a brief stint living in Denmark and the birth of my second child, I really focused on the business and started to grow it to what it is today (my 3rd baby). I love to visit the Lake District and have lovely family days out at the weekend.

JACK

CEO / Founder

As Founder and CEO, I am passionate about building a business that is driven by both innovation and strong family values. I take a hands-on approach to leadership and am committed to creating a brand that customers trust and a company culture that people enjoy being part of.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active, playing golf, and spending quality time with my family. Maintaining a balance between business and family life is incredibly important to me and continues to influence both my personal and professional values.

DAN

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

I trained as a Primary School Teacher and completed 13 years across various schools. Although I enjoyed it, when the opportunity to work at Mabel & Fox materialised it was too exciting to turn down. Working at Mabel and Fox brings lots of challenges, it is a fast-paced, dynamic business to be involved with!

Out of work I enjoy keeping active, primarily through paddleboarding and CrossFit,  I love being outdoors and exploring new places. My little boy is 6 and a real character, he loves coming on adventures too!

Head Of Brand & Growth

I have a background in social media, PR and marketing - which steers me well when it comes to mucking in with - well everything here at Mabel & Fox! My role covers multiple aspects of the business but my main goal is to do all I can to propel the business forward in anyway I can. I work part time as I have two young children and love the balance of being a working parent.

I’m a self confessed Audiobook addict, I love to binge a good TV series and I’m a big country music fan!!

As the designer at Mabel & Fox, I create our own-brand products and personalise all of your lovely gifts in our workshop.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me working on a new creative project or heading out for a long, muddy walk with my dog.

Victoria

Buyer & Merchandiser

I’m passionate about discovering and curating the very best products for babies and children. Every item in our store is chosen with an eye for quality, thoughtful design, and practicality so both children and parents fall in love with them.

Floristry was where my journey began, shaping my appreciation for design, detail, and the art of creating something beautiful. Outside of work I’m living in a house full of boys, fuelled by good food, and I’m always on the lookout for new destinations to discover.

e-commerce assistant

As an E-Commerce Assistant at Mabel & Fox, I bring our products to life online through engaging, informative descriptions that help parents find exactly what they’re looking for. I love combining creativity with detail to make every item feel special.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me writing or producing music, playing the drums, or diving into a good sci-fi or fantasy novel — anything that fuels the imagination and keeps the creativity flowing!

HANNAH

Creative & Marketing Assistant

You’ll find me at the laser cutter, embroidery machine or tying some bows! I also help out with our social media, usually filming behinds the scenes content.

Outside of work I am happiest sitting in the sun, sipping coffee or chilling with my cat.

Hannah

Customer Care Supervisor

I am a known for my creativity, compassion, and canine companionship. I have a background in graphic design, retail and customer service. At Mabel & Fox, I work as a customer care assistant, interacting closely with all our lovely customers.

Outside of work you'll find me in the kitchen baking treats or on the sofa with my adorable pup Hendrix.

WAREHOUSE & PROCESSING

I work as part of the warehouse and processing team, helping to ensure the smooth flow of all operations.

Outside of work you will either find me curled up with a book and coffee or stitching my latest cross stitch

Processing Coordinator

I love the variety that each day brings working in the warehouse. Fulfilling orders and enjoying the dynamic and fun environment.

When I'm not working, I love traveling and spending quality time with my family.

Warehouse Coordinator

By day, I'm fully immersed in the world of the warehouse and processing team, where you'll find me unboxing new stock or picking orders between the shelves.

Outside of work I love creating new workouts, whipping up delicious creations in the kitchen, or indulging in playtime with my adorable and mischievous kitten.

Sasha

Processing Coordinator

I work as part of the warehouse and processing team, helping to ensure the smooth flow of all operations.

Outside of work, you’ll find me at ballet barre, flowing through Pilates and reformer sessions, or learning the art of DJing.

Rosie

WAREHOUSE & PROCESSING

I work in the warehouse, fulfilling all our customers lovely orders. I love working in a team environment and enjoy collaborating with my colleagues.

Outside of work, I love photography and finding new music.
