I had a plain wedge mat prior to this, that kept tearing and I replaced twice. Finally paid a little bit more for this, you clearly get what you pay for. Great so far, very stylish and love that your can remove the cover .

Very impressed with the changing mat, the quality is amazing and feels much thicker than most changing mats I have used before.
I was a little hesitate spending this amount on a mat as I have previously bought mats and they have been poor quality. So pleased I spent more this time around - the mat is so much thicker than others I have had! The print is really lovely, subtle but different to alot else on the market.

I treated myself to this changing mat as it was just so pretty. We currently have one in the nursery but wanted one to keep handy in the living room, and therefore wanted a pretty one as it will be out all the time. The quality seems great and it looks easy to clean. Very happy with this purchase.

I got this to match our wedge changing mat and its perfect size for fitting into a changing bag. Love the neutral tones and pattern especially as we do not know the gender! Love all of the mabel and fox products and patterns, I'm obsessed!
The print on the mat is lovely, but overall hugely over priced for essentially a piece of foam coated in plastic. Must have cost no more than $2 to make. Wouldn’t buy again based on this.

It is such a shame we haven’t had the opportunity to resolve this before this review as we pride ourselves on supporting our customers with any issues. It does sound like you may have been better to have returned the item rather than keep something you are not happy with? Our changing mats are priced in line with other retailers and our mark up is in line with standard retail practises. Like most businesses, our Mabel & Fox manufacturing prices have increased hugely over the past year. We are happy to say that to date, we have not passed any of these price increases over to our customers – taking the hit ourselves. Our changing mats are also proudly manufactured here in the UK, which will always carry a higher manufacturing cost.
