When designing the new collection it was an easy decision to include the much loved Whale in our designs. Such mystical creatures, full of gorgeous tones. So we have put together some ideas for you guys to help insprire a whale themed nursery.

One of the things I love about this theme is the fact it can work so well as a unisex nursery, you can keep the base tones grey or white and play upon the blue, grey, green tones of the whale to add colour.

1. Changing Mat

Of course no nursery would be complete without a baby changing mat. If you're option for a whale or sea life themed nursery then check out our Wedge changing mat:

2. Wallpaper

We're massive fans of wallpaper. And we absolutely adore Cole & Sons Whimsical wall paper, featuring subtle whale illustrations. We're actually planning our sons new nursery & we're landed on this wallpaper!

3. Soft Toys

I've said it before, but Jelly Cats toys are amazing. I'm not really a massive fan of stuffed toys, but these I welcome! Check out the gorgeous Whale toy.

4. Art Prints

If you're not feeling a full 'Whale Themed' nursery you could add subtle art prints to your nursery walls. Desenio and Etsy have some great prints but this one is one of our absolutely faves, and the tones of blue and grey could set the theme for the rest of the nursery:

5. Grey Canopy

Kids Canopies can really add something to a nursery or playroom. You can turn into a really cute chill out area, reading zone or secret den. How cute would this look with some fairy lights inside?!
